What is color rendering index (CRI) ?

Color rendering index (CRI) is a parameter that measures the ability of a light source to restore the color of an object. The color rendering index range from 0 to 100. 100 means that the light source can perfectly restore all colors. Light source with CRI higher than 80 are considered to be able to provide good color reproduction effects, making the color of objects natural and ture. The CRI of our suspender linear lights is always higher than 80,it is true color and close to natural light.

Commercial lighting has requirements for color rendering index, because ture color is very important for product display in commerical places. Fox example, a clothing store needs to display clothes of true colors. If CRI of the light source is not good, the color of the clothes displayed will not be really colors, which will effect the customers’s purchasing decision. In addition, food shops need to present the true color of food to attract customers. Shopping malls also need true colors to attract customers’s stop. Therefore, commercial lighting need to choose a light source with high color rendering index to ensure color presentation and better display effects. Color rendering index of linear lights used in commercial places should be higher than 90 or even higher to ensure best effects. Our hanging linear lights and ceiling linear lights color rendering index can make with higher than 90 or 95, according to customers’ requirements.
