Efficient and Durable: LED Ring Lights for Commercial and Home Use

LED Ring Lights with high lumens, dimmable and modern design, it is one of the best lighting fixtures for commercail and home use. Our led right light make with aluminum housing, modern design, high power and diameter optional. because of its advantages, more than more customers choose led lights. It is also popular in US and EU market. In European countries, LED ring lights are subject to specific requirements regarding glare and brightness to ensure visual comfort and meet safety standards. Here are the general requirements

Glare Reduction: European standards often require LED panel lights to have effective glare control measures. Glare is typically assessed using a Unified Glare Rating (UGR), which measures the discomfort experienced by an observer due to bright light sources. The UGR should be within acceptable limits to prevent visual discomfort and fatigue. For office and general indoor lighting, the Unified Glare Rating (UGR) is a commonly used metric, with a lower UGR value indicating less glare.Generally, standards requirement for office lighting and conference room lighting, UGR<19.

For places with high visual requirements such as painting and computing, the UGR is lower than 16, UGR<16.

Brightness Requirements: Brightness, or luminous flux, is measured in lumens (lm) and must be appropriate for the space and the tasks being performed. European standards may specify minimum and maximum luminous flux values for different types of environments. For instance, office spaces might require a certain amount of lumens per square meter to ensure adequate lighting for reading and working. Our led ringleuchten with high lumen up to 120 lumens per watt.

Lux Levels: Besides lumens, the illuminance level, measured in lux (lx), is also a critical factor. European standards may dictate specific lux levels for different applications. For example, general office tasks typically require illuminance levels between 300 to 500 lux, while more precise tasks may require higher levels.

Uniformity of Illumination: European standards emphasize the importance of uniform illumination to prevent the creation of dark spots or overly bright areas. This is often addressed by the uniformity ratio (UR), which should be within a certain range to ensure a balanced distribution of light.

Color Rendering Index (CRI): While not directly related to glare or brightness, the CRI is an important aspect of European LED panel lights. It measures a light source's ability to reveal objects' true colors. A higher CRI (close to 100) is generally preferred for environments where accurate color perception is important.

It's important to note that specific requirements may vary depending on the application and the country's regulations. Manufacturers and importers of LED panel lights should consult the latest European standards, such as those set by the International Commission on Illumination (CIE), and comply with any national regulations to ensure their products meet all requirements for the European market.
