New AMS-OSRAM Red LED For Plant Light

Recently, AMS-OSRAM released two latest chip technology, which can furtuer improve plant growth speed and reduce the cost. It also can optimize plant lighting applications.  Currently, new series chip technology includes 660nm ultra red light, 730nm far red light,450nm deep blue light and white led device products. The latest red light LEDs can effectively improve energy efficiency of plant light and reduce electricity costs. The photosynthetic photon energy efficiency (PPE) of the new Red light product can reach 3.53 μ Mol/J, radiation flux was 485mW, photon flux (PPF) was 2.58 μ Mol/s, with a peak wavelength of 640nm and a main wavelength of 630nm. The combinaton of 640nm,660nm and white LEDs can effectively improve the dry boomass level of indoor plants environmnet. Our grow light 1000w will use new model chip technology to increare the whole lamp efficacy.

 

On June 19th, AMS-OSRAM announced of its popular product of Square Hyper Red plant light led is designed specifically to improve plant growth speed and achieve optimal system cost effectiveness. Based on customer needs, AMS-OSRAM continues to develop mainly invovative technologies and provides a high photosynthetic photon flux(PPF) led solution that is more efficienty than the privous generation of Ultra red 660nm LEDs. New square ultra red LED products are expected to be used in all plant lighting applications, including greenhouse top lighting, interior lighting and vertical agricultural applications.New ultra red led (Part Number CSSRM6.24) radiant efficiency can achieve 79% compared to only 77% of previous generation products, indoor growers can save on the energy cost of artificial lighting when planting crops such as vegetables, flowers and medicinal plants.

 

With SMD creamic package, the new led chips can achieve high power and stability,suitable for humidity in indoor agriculture. The new 6.24 version further improves the standard, allowing the Q90 to achieve an ultra long service lifespan up to 102000 hours.

 

Key technical include:

CSSRM6.24: PPF at 700mA is 5.96 μ Mol/s, 350mA current is 3.02 μ Mol/s 

CSSRM5.24:PPF at 700mA current is 4.32 μ Mol/J, 350mA current is 4.62 μ Mol/J

The wavelength is 660nm, and the main wavelength is 640nm.

The spectral bandwidth is 25nm.The ceramic packaging area with silicone lens is 3.0mm x 3.0mm.

 

The new LEDs is widely applications in agriculture, horticulture,indoor plants, medicinal plants,vertical farming,etc.
