Main Parameters of LED Circular Linear Light

The main parameters of customised circular linear light include luminous flux, illuminance, light intensity, brightness, light efficiency, color temperature, correlated color temperature, color rendering index, lifespan, efficiency, glare, etc.

1. Luminous flux

The sum of the energy emitted by the light source and received by the human eye is the luminous flux,unit is lumnes,short for lm.Generally, the higher the power of the same type of lamp, the greater the luminous flux.

 

2. Illuminance

The luminous flux received per unit illuminated area is called illuminance.unit is 1x lux, 11x lux= llm/square meter. which is used to indicate the degree of illumination of the space.In summer,from ground the sun illuminance is about 50001x, In winter, from ground the sun illuminace is about 20001x.

 

3. Light Intensity

The luminous flux emitted by a light source within a unit solid angle in a given direction is called the luminous intensity of the light source in that direction, or light intensity for short (unit is cd (candela)). 1cd=llm/ls

 

4.Brightness

The brightness of a light source in a certain direction (unit: nt (nit)) is the luminous flux emitted by the light source in unit projected area and unit solid angle in that direction.

 

5.Efficacy

The ratio of the total luminous flux emitted by a light source to the electrical power (W) consumed by the light source is called the luminous efficiency of the light source. The unit is lumens per watt (Lm/W).

 

6.Color Temperature

When the color of the light emitted by the light source is the same as the color radiated by the black body at a certain temperature, the temperature of the black body is called the color temperature (CT), expressed by the absolute temperature K.

 

7.Correlated Color Temperature

When the color of the light emitted by a light source is close to the color radiated by a black body at a certain temperature, the temperature of the black body is called the correlated color temperature (CCT) of the light source, and the unit is K.

 

8.Color Rendering Index

The degree to which a light source presents the true color of an object is called the color rendering of the light source. In order to quantify the color rendering of a light source, the concept of color rendering index is introduced. Based on the standard light source, its color rendering index is set as 100, and the color rendering index of other light sources is lower than 100. The color rendering index is represented by Ra. The larger the Ra value, the better the color rendering of the light source.

 

9.Lifespan

Lifespan refers to the number of hours when the comprehensive beam output is reduced to a specific ratio, taking into account both the damage of the lamp and the attenuation of the beam output. The ratio is 70% for outdoor light sources and 80% for indoor light sources.

 

10. Glare

When there are extremely bright objects in the field of view, it will cause visual discomfort, which is called glare. Glare is an important factor affecting the quality of the light source. For customised circular linear light, we are do UGR<19.
